IN CLASS:
Today students completed an assessment over the Critical Response questions we've been working on this week. Using a paragraph in the text, students answered a question about the main character's motivation toward destructive behavior. In their answers, I'm looking for clear topics, explanations, and appropriate usage of direct quotations. After they finished the assessment, students read chapter 4 (in hours 2, 5, 6) or chapters 4 & 5 (in hours 7, 8).
