Tuesday--9/29/09

IN CLASS:
Today in class we talked about symbolism in Touching Spirit Bear. Hours 2, 5, 6 received symbolism charts and begin searching for direct quotations and writing explanations for the symbols. Then we started reading chapter 7.

Hours 7, 8 should have had their charts partially finished, though since many students did not, we had to take class time to work on them. Students who had done the work in advance as expected worked with partners to develop their ideas into more carefully crafted paragraphs.
