IN CLASS:
All classes today read two introductory pieces to The Freedom Writers Diary as an extension activity to Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl. The first is a brief summary of the Freedom Writers story, while the second is the forward to the book written by Zlata Filipovic who wrote her own war diary during the was in Sarajevo in 1992. There were questions to accompany both readings.
