IN CLASS:
Today students attended a field trip to the Minnesota History Center and the Westwood Nature Center. Both parts were very successful, but I was especially impressed by our students enthusiasm and commitment to the service work we did at Westwood. They made us proud.
ASSIGNMENT:
See vocab due dates from yesterday's post.
A note on the ongoing construction in the Blue Team hallway:
Some of your students may have told you about the noise, dust, and fumes we are dealing with in our hallway due to the construction at the Junior High to prepare for the 6th graders next fall. The distractions and irritations (both physically and mentally) have reached a point that I am looking for an alternate location to hold my classes. This may mean that each hour meets in a different room. I know this will complicate things for me and for students during the last few weeks for the school year. However, I believe the impact of moving the class will be lesser than the issues we are experiencing in class now.
If you have any questions or concerns about this, please feel free to contact me, Prinicpal Bork, or Assistant Superintendent, Bob Laney.
