Hour 5--Today students did some silent reading of entries from 1943 in Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. They also worked on finding examples of both internal and external conflict in the text. Finally, we watched two sections of the the PBS movie.
Hour 6 completed NWEA testing during class.
Hour 8--Students worked on flow maps trying to organize the causes and effects surrounding the Frank family's experiences in hiding. We also watched one section from the PBS movie. 8th hour students should finish reading the entries from Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl in their copy of Junior Great Books.
