IN CLASS:
Today students began working on their body paragraphs for their essays. I handed out paragraph frames, reviewed topic sentences and paragraph structure, and set them to drafting. Students SHOULD be finished with research at this point. They should be moving on to the SYNTHESIZING step of research where they put it all together. This is going to take the form of a 5-paragraph essay proving that their person is truly a champion.
ASSIGNMENT:
We will check vocab 10 tomorrow. If it is not finished, it needs to be finished by class tomorrow. Also, you need to be working on your champion essay.
